I finally had the chance to put some miles on the new clutch. First impressions...this is so much better than the stock clutch. The shifts are crisper and much more definitive than the stock unit and lock up is positive. In addition, neutral is also much easier to find.
The manufacturer recommended a synthetic ATF, for use in the primary with this clutch kit. I tried Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF, and noticed a bit of slip. I ended up draining that out and refilling the primary with Formula +. I'm not sure if using the mineral based fluid will have any negative effects on the carbon fiber plates, but there is no more slip and it seems to be operating properly.
